I would like to introduce myself to you and thank you for taking the time to visit my firm’s website. I hope that by sharing some of my background, the background of my staff and some of the cases I have worked on, I can demonstrate how I can help if you need legal representation in a criminal law, corporate law, personal injury, or consumer fraud case.
I founded my own law practice after having served as a St. Louis Assistant Prosecutor and Section Chief of the White Collar Crimes Unit. I have 12 years of significant trial experience, trying over 30 jury trials and over 100 bench trials. I have expertise in DNA testing and played a significant role in developing the St. Louis Prosecutor’s post conviction DNA testing project. I have extensive experience in trying complex murder, white-collar criminal, and business cases. I feel that my experience on the government side of trying cases gives me a perspective and expertise that makes a difference to my clients.
While a large part of my professional life has been in public service, I also have extensive private practice and civil experience. I have tried several accident cases and I have worked to get personal injury victims the justice they are due.
I am proud of my reputation in the legal community as a nice guy and a capable lawyer. I zealously represent my side without taking the fight too personally or engaging in cheap shots against the other side. I am a meticulous preparer, which is necessary to win cases. While I am trained as an attorney, I come from a business family and I have a business background. My family’s business interests have given me the ability to understand financial statements and led me to develop a specialty in financial fraud and white-collar crime.
