Ron Sheppard – Independent Contractor/Investigative Expert
In 2004, Ron retired after working as a police officer with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for 30 years. Ron was a police detective for 17 years and worked in the city police department’s Fraud Unit as a detective for 7 years. During his last two years as a police officer, Ron had more felony warrants issued than any other police officer. Ron investigated several high profile cases, including the Kelly Mullins case and the John Tiller case. In 2003, Ron was given an award by the Missouri Lt. Governor for his work in bringing the first case under Missouri’s Financial Exploitation of the Elderly law. Ron also received a Chief’s Commendation for his work on a multimillion fraud committed against a local law firm. Ron specializes in investigating Car Fraud and Consumer Fraud matters for the Kiernan Law Firm, but has also investigated Federal Tort Claims cases, Personal Injury matters, Premises Liability cases, Auto Accidents, Criminal Defense and Family law cases.
